Behavioral health services support people when emotional, behavioral, relationship, trauma-related, substance-use, or life-transition concerns begin affecting everyday functioning. Services are individualized based on each person’s needs, circumstances, and treatment or service goals.
Who We Support?
We support children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families throughout Cuyahoga County and surrounding Northeast Ohio communities. People may seek support when they are experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, emotional or behavioral difficulties, relationship challenges, substance-use concerns, major life transitions, or difficulty managing everyday responsibilities.
Support may also be appropriate for individuals who need help accessing community resources, developing greater independence, improving daily functioning, or navigating challenges at home, school, work, or within relationships. The appropriate service depends on each person’s circumstances, needs, and eligibility for the specific service.
How often are services provided?
The frequency of support depends on the service, individual needs, and treatment or service goals. Sessions may occur weekly, biweekly, monthly, or as clinically appropriate. The overall duration of services may vary based on progress, continued need, and the specific service provided.
What outcomes may support help address?
Different people may work toward different changes depending on what brought them to services. Support may contribute to:
- Better emotional regulation
- Healthier coping skills
- Reduced behavioral health symptoms
- Stronger communication and relationships
- Greater access to community resources
- Improved daily functioning
- Greater independence
- Progress toward individualized treatment or service goals
Outcomes vary by individual and are not guaranteed.
When a Service Is Not Available
When a needed service cannot be provided directly by Back 2 Business, we will help connect the individual with an appropriate community provider based on their needs, eligibility, location, insurance coverage, and personal choice. The receiving provider will complete its own intake, determine eligibility, and provide the referred service.
How does the service process work?
Getting started begins with understanding what the individual, caregiver, or referral source needs and determining the appropriate type of support.
The client, caregiver, or referral source contacts Back 2 Business.
Information is gathered to understand the person’s needs and identify an appropriate service.
An assessment is completed when required.
The client and provider develop a treatment or service plan based on identified strengths, needs, and goals.
The appropriate clinician or support professional begins providing the identified service.
Progress and continued needs are reviewed, with services adjusted as appropriate.
